Digging Deeper: Is My Small Business Eligible for SBA Funding?

PolicyMap is working with the SBA to help small businesses determine whether they meet one of the criteria to be eligible for COVID-19 Targeted Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) funding. The PolicyMap EIDL mapping tool provides an eligibility lookup for businesses in low-income areas.

Using Tax Incentives to Encourage Low Income Housing Construction

Housing developers are encouraged to dedicate new apartments or houses to low income residents through numerous federal tax credit programs. These credits can be “stacked” to further incentivize development. PolicyMap has created a new dataset that allows affordable housing professionals to see projects where developers have used Low Income Housing Tax Credits, Historic Tax Credits, and nearby or on-site New Markets Tax Credits together to assemble funding for housing projects.
