Updated Data

The HUD homelessness data has been updated to 2023. This data shows homeless estimates as captured in a single point-in-time count.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Environmental Justice Screening and Mapping Tool (EJScreen) is now available on PolicyMap! The EPA EJScreen includes environmental indicators, socioeconomic indicators, and EJsupplemental indexes that summarize how environmental indicators and specific socioeconomic indicators interact in the same location.

The FBI Violent/Property Crime and Hate Crimes datasets have been updated.

The HUD Qualified Census Tracts (QCTs) and Difficult Development Areas (DDAs) dataset is now updated to 2024.

BLS QCEW data has been updated to 2023.

Valassis has been updated through Quarter 1, 2024. This is a refresh of all the data and updated to 2024 zip code boundaries. All the historic years are re-mapped to 2024 zip code boundaries to assist users with comparisons over time. The update also includes the 2022 vintages of block group, census tract, county boundaries, and the new 2023 Metro Areas.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) & Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) Environmental Justice Index is now available on PolicyMap.

The Census LEHD – Longitudinal Employer-Household Dynamics (LEHD) Origin-Destination Employment Statistics (LODES) data has been updated to 2021.

EPA’s Environmental Justice Mapping and Screening Tool (EJScreen) has been updated to 2024 on PolicyMap. EJScreen was developed by the EPA to help identify areas with potential environmental justice concerns.
