PolicyMap is out and about!

PolicyMap is out and about this week! While Phil Vu is presenting with the Shimberg Center at the Florida Housing Coalition, two members of our data development team, Elizabeth Nash and Katie Nelson, are in Washington this week for a four day Census training. At the training, we’re learning about the many datasets, publicly available through the federal government, that we don’t already post to PolicyMap.

Yesterday we had the chance to ask our questions about the 2010 changes to a Census Geographer within the Geographic Standards and Criteria Branch. We also heard about all that we have to look forward to with the December release of the five-year estimates from the American Community Survey from the ACS Coordination Staff.

Later this week, we go to St. Louis to talk to Federal Reserve Banks around the country about PolicyMap as a part of their CAO Conference!
