CDFIs: Using Data To Better Understand Your Community And Promote Equitable Development
CDFIs often struggle to identify the types of data that will help them better understand their markets and how to shape products to serve those markets. This webinar will review commonly used data sources in community development, such as Census data via American Fact Finder, residential and small business lending data, and the wide range of data points offered by Policy Map. Learn about basic analytic techniques to interpret data and tell a story with it, including analyzing trends over time, comparing across categories, looking at correlations, and examining spatial concentrations. Examples will be used from research on social and economic inequality and will focus on how data can help CDFIs develop equitable development and lending strategies.
The webinar is being held on October 18, 2018, at 2:00 PM EDT. You can register here.
