Home Sale Statistics – Q1 2007 through Q1 2013
Home sale data is now available through the first quarter of 2013 on PolicyMap, allowing you to track how the markets in which you work have changed on a quarterly or annual basis since 2007. Use PolicyMap to find information on the number of residential sales, median sales price, aggregate value of home sale activity, loan-to-value ratio, and quarterly and annual percent changes in sales and prices. Data is available at the block group, tract, zip code, place and county.
This data comes from Boxwood Means, Inc., a value added reseller of residential and commercial real-estate data and is available to PolicyMap subscribers only. You’ll find this data in the Real Estate tab. Learn more.
HealthRetail-Based Healthcare locations – think pharmacy locations with walk-in clinics – have been updated on PolicyMap. These locations come from the Convenient Care Association and include the name of the retail store, location and contact information. This data is available for free on PolicyMap and can be found under the Health tab in the Add Sites menu. |
Impact of New Market Tax CreditsMany of our subscribers are familiar with PolicyMap’s New Markets eligibility data, which is one of the easiest ways to find areas that qualify for this competitive program. With newly updated New Markets projects data (located at the bottom of the Federal Guidelines tab,) anyone interested in New Markets tax credits can also see the impact of the program at the state, zip, and census tract levels. |

School District Performance
Great Schools: You’ll now find updated School District ratings on PolicyMap. These ratings range from 1-10 and can be used to compare districts within a state. In addition, for every School District in the nation, you can find out what percentage of students scored “at or above proficient” in a variety of standardized tests. For many of these standard tests, you’ll find statistics for multiple years allowing you to compare student performance in a District over time. There are quite a lot of standardized tests in each state, so you’ll find this data organized in the Education tab by state. This data comes from Great Schools, Inc. and is available only PolicyMap subscribers only.
New America Foundation: Also updated on PolicyMap is our school proficiency data from the New America Foundation. This data shows the percentage of students in a school district who scored “At or Above Proficient’ in math and reading in 4th grade, 8th grade, and in high school. Data is available from 2006 to 2011 and is free to all users. It can be found in the Education tab, under “Overall Student Proficiency”. Read more about both of these datasets.
