Updated Data

The CDC Opioid Prescription data has been updated through 2022 (with a complete data refresh for 2019-2022).

The CDC Opioid Overdose data has been updated through 2022.

The HUD homelessness data has been updated to 2023. This data shows homeless estimates as captured in a single point-in-time count. Please note that the numbers collected in 2021 are artificially low given the pandemic influence.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Environmental Justice Screening and Mapping Tool (EJScreen) is now available on PolicyMap!

The FBI Violent/Property Crime and Hate Crimes datasets have finally been updated! Both datasets have been updated to 2022, and Violent/Property Crime now includes new State and MSA level data. 2021 data has been excluded from the Violent/Property Crime as the FBI did not release the 2021 source data due to low participation rates in their new data collection system.

The HUD Qualified Census Tracts (QCTs) and Difficult Development Areas (DDAs) dataset is now updated to 2024.
