Harness the power of data: Charlotte Data Day
Tomorrow, 3/26/2013, the UNC Charlotte Urban Institute, Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, City of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County will host a forum in uptown Charlotte designed to tell the public about powerful sources of data and how to use them.
The Reinvestment Fund’s Ira Goldstein will present in the afternoon National Resources Workshop, using PolicyMap to talk about using spatial data for analysis.
Whether the word data makes you yawn, or scoot to the edge of your seat and eagerly await what comes next, there are more tools than ever for finding and using data in innovative ways. But most people don’t know they exist or don’t know how to use them. Enter Charlotte Data Day, free and open to the public.
If you are in the Charlotte area, please join us at Charlotte Data Day. The event is free and open to the public, lunch included, but registration is required. Click here to register. Agenda available here.
