Did you know… (See List and Values)

Did you know subscribers can download a complete spreadsheet of data for any location from the Tables page. This allows you to download all the values of data that make up a location; see all the values of each county in a state, zip codes in a city, census tracts in a county, or various combinations of geographies in one complete spreadsheet.

You access See Values by:

  • Select the Tables button on the top left. This step requires you to add location(s) and a data layer.
  • Open from the identifier bubble on the map and select See Table. This step will pull all the geographies in the ID bubble into the table and the current data layer loaded.


Once in the Tables page with location(s) and data loaded, you will see the “See Values for …” option.  Selecting the link will open a list of all the values for the geographies making up the location.  Users can Print the list, Download into a CSV (comma delimited value) file to Excel, or Save to My PolicyMap.

See List

Want to know all the schools in your zip codes?  Or all the hospitals in your city? See List works similar to See Values, but will show detailed information for points loaded from Add Sites on the Maps page.

To access See List:

  • On the Maps page, set a location and load the points from Add Sites, then head to the Table section. While on the Tables page, you can add additional location(s) to See Lists for each location(s).
  • With points from the Maps page loaded, open the identifier bubble on the map and select See Table. This step will pull all the geographies in the ID bubble and will display a total of all points in a location and a link to show detail information for each point.

Once you are in the Tables page, select See List to see detail information for each point inside your location.  Users can Print the list, Download into a CSV (comma delimited value) file to Excel, or Save to My PolicyMap.
