New and Improved Home Sale Data Now Available!

The 2010 Q3 home sale data is now available on PolicyMap! But that’s not all. We’ve done a full refresh of our home sale statistics, so if you’re seeing data that better meets your expectations of home sale activity in your community, don’t be surprised! Every quarter we receive improved replacement data for what we show on PolicyMap. This quarter we’ve comprehensively replaced all years and quarters’ worth of data. We have refreshed the data because home sale information tends to trickle in slowly to our vendor, Boxwood Means, and so the counts, medians, and aggregate amounts are refined and improved within the database as time goes by. We post home sale data to PolicyMap with a few months’ lag time in order to provide our subscribers with the latest data possible. But we find that a periodic refresh of that data is a good idea. We welcome your feedback on all of our datasets, and we hope that this update will improve the way you’re able to use our home sale statistics! The home sale statistics are located in the Real Estate Analysis tab and are available to subscribers.
